The Modest Guitar Trio

The Modest Guitar Trio does not set out to prove anything. The Modest Guitar Trio performs music influenced by the compositional and improvisational practices of Lennie Tristano, Warne Marsh, Lee Konitz, and George Russell.

Composed of guitarist Daniel Waddingham, bassist James Lockwood, and percussionist Paul Whitwood, The Modest Guitar Trio presents a unique interpretation of the standard repertoire and original compositions with a focus on play and clear, engaging groove carried by all members of the ensemble.
