The Matt Dwyer Duo

Multi-award winning guitarist/singer/songwriter Matt Dwyer teams up with legendary Melbourne pianist David Allardice for an evening of Blues, R’n’B, Jazz and old timey classics at The Moldy Fig. As a solo artist Matt Dwyer has toured all over Australia and overseas wowing audiences with his own unique blend of swinging Blues, as well as backing artists as diverse as Wilbur Wilde, Russell Morris, Tex Perkins, Broderick Smith, Scott Carne and many others. Pianist David Allardice has been a long time member of the world renown Pearly Shells and is a pillar in the Melbourne Latin music scene.
Together they cook up a hot gumbo of musical styles that you won’t hear anywhere else.
