The Guilina & Ogrin Duo

The Gulina & Ogrin Duo is a snapshot of the continuous musical journey that exists between Maurizio and Dario. The guys first became friends whilst at university, and almost immediately started playing as a duo. The guys explain that ‘as we’ve grown and changed both musically and on a personal level, we have both realised that the duet platform is a wonderful way for us to indulge and to share with a wider audience, our love for the music of the Americas’. The duo’s repertoire flows from Brazilian to New Orleans to the Caribbean and finally to original compositions co-authored. The duo are acoustic and revel in the rhythms, harmonies, melodies and warm sounds of Maurizio’s acoustic guitar and Dario’s clarinet and flute.
