The Bird Conference

The Bird Conference explore the depths of the jazz tradition. Pieces range from hard swinging numbers reminiscent of the Cannonball Adderley quintet, to free improvisation, to highly arranged pieces exploring harmony and odd time grooves. Join the group as they present original compositions from all members and interpretations of jazz standards. The band consists of Ben Christensen, double bass and vocals, Ainsley Finn, piano, and Kein Jenkin, drums.
