Shoehorn

Shoehorn explores beloved songbook, bebop, and bossa nova classics in an intimate duo setting. Chris Staben is a member of the Esstee Big Band, in addition to numerous small ensembles, who performs with the feel of swinging piano greats Oscar Peterson, Count Basie and Horace Silver. He is joined by upright bassist James Lockwood for an evening of hard-swinging jazz and choice selections from the standard repertoire.
