Nelson & Emma-Mae

Nelson Rufatt is a composer, jazz pianist, singer, and arranger. He front maned and wrote songs for Sydney jazz-rock band ‘The Alpha Experiment’ from 2011-2017. With that band he won the Sydney Fringe’s PIC award, and played at venues such as  Frankies, Venue 505, LazyBones Lounge, the Mona Vale Hotel, and The Modus Operandi BrewingCompany. Nelson received his Bachelor of Music (Performance) from the SydneyConservatorium of Music in 2016. He will be joined by vocalist Emma-Mae Schmidt, an up and coming jazz vocalist, who has originally trained as a classical soprano performing in a variety of singing competitions and ensembles.
