Mother’s Day at The Fig!

Join us at The Fig and celebrate that special lady in your life – your MUM!

We’ll have live music all day and night starting from midday. Plus every mum joining us for lunch or dinner will receive a free glass of bubbles, red or white wine, or pot of lager!

12pm Shota Ikeda and band

Shota Ikeda is a jazz guitarist and composer, from Kobe Japan. With influence from Wes Montgomery and Django Reinhardt, he learned jazz guitar from professional musician, Jack Pantazis in Melbourne. Shota has honed his skills playing jazz and improvising across many styles; swing, ballad, bossa, blues. In addition, he’s been into gypsy jazz whilst working on his original music.

2pm Ben Clifford Acoustic Set

Ben Clifford plays a mix of classic blues and rock originals mixed with some traditional blues favourites taking influences from Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Freddy King, Cream, BB King and many more. Ben joins us for a special solo acoustic set
