It’s Mardi Gras Time in the Big Easy!!!
And to celebrate the final and biggest weekend of the carnival, along with Mardi Gras day or ‘Fat Tuesday’, as the locals call it in Louisiana. The Jackson Combo are going to do something a little special this year with their special show, ‘Goin’ To The Mardi Gras’ at The Moldy Fig, Brunswick East.

The night will be full of great New Orleans based music, starting with the Combo’s duo. Followed by the Combo’s Mardi Gras parade musicians. Who’ll be joined by special guests as they wander through the venue towards the stage and join the full band to ‘sit in’ and play through the night with the music of the French Quarter, Treme’ and the bayou.
There’s also lots of New Orleans and Mardi Gras prizes on the night. Plus ‘King’ cake to share freely for everybody. And of course the fabulous Creole and Cajun cuisine that The Moldy Fig is renowned for. Bookings essential.
The Jackson Combo will play from 6.30pm in Cocoa Jackson Lane, the band can be enjoyed from tables in the Courtyard and in Cocoa Jackson Lane.
