Brock Rankin-Pearce & James O’Brien

This new duo features creative and virtuosic pianist James O’Brien, and Brock Rankin-Pearce. They will perform love songs written in the 40s, 50s, and 60s, as well as original compositions with influences within and outside of the greater jazz tradition. Vocally they have been inspired by singers like Chet Baker, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Hartman, Sarah Vaughn and Billie Holiday, and will be taking their repertoire and pairing this music with the timeless serenade of a vocal and piano duet.

Brock Rankin-Pearce and James O’Brien will perform in the New Orleans Room from 6:30pm.
