BMF Present Swinging Sunday

1pm Floyd Thursby in Cocoa Jackson Lane
Floyd’s been song-hunting in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan, spun Bulgarian transvestite gypsy dance pop in clubs, gave a private show to the Squatter King of Hanoi, founded avant-garde instrumentalists the Ang Fang Quartet, and composed scores for award-winning films. He’ll be joining us for a romp through the back streets of early New Orleans music.

3pm Flying Home in Cocoa Jackson Lane
Flying Home are a swing jazz blues combo dedicated to performing classics from the 20’s to 60’s. Consisting of Brett Dellavedova, guitar/vocals, George Stogiannou, keys/vocals, Andrew Barcham, bass, Damon Key, tenor sax, and Pete Hodges, drums, they’ll get the swing pumping and dance floor jumping with music made famous by artists including Benny Goodman, Lionel Hampton, Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong
