Trio Access

Trio Access is a collaboratively led jazz piano trio featuring the compositional and improvisational talents of members Luke Drohan (piano), James Lockwood (upright bass & contrabass guitar), and Paul Whitwood (drumkit & percussion).

Trio Access emphasises the musical contributions of each member to create an intimate and sensitive approach to improvisation inspired by the Wayne Shorter Quartet, the Tristano School, and the legendary piano trios of Bill Evans and Chick Corea. Access explores a breadth of original compositions alongside repertoire from some of jazz’s greatest composers, creating a unique musical experience with every performance.
